(SMACNA), the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association is an international trade association which represents over 1,800 member firms in 97 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and Brazil. It is a leader in promoting quality and excellence within the sheet metal and air conditioning industries. SMACNA has offices in Chantilly, VA., which is outside of Washington, D.C., and on Capitol Hill. The contractors associated with it work in industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential markets.
